Title: THE THIEF LORD

This story is about a boy named Thief lord who leads a group of kids that have escaped from their house or from somewhere and escaped to Venice and Prosper and Bo. Prosper is Bo's brother. After Prosper and Bo have escaped from their aunt Ester and went to Venice, they found the Thief lord. Each night, the Thief lord welcomed them into an abandoned movie theater with the rest of his followers. Every night, the thief lord would go out stealing things and sometimes sell items he have stolen to the scrap material vendor. The scrap material vendor's name is Babarossa.
He is the only one who does business with Thief Lord. While that, Ester went to Venice and to a detective named Victor. She assigned him on a mission to find the 2 brothers. Then the thief lord was assigned on a mission to steal a wooden wing. They had to get to a famous basilica to meet the Conte first before proceeding. Victor also suspected going there first because everybody in Venice has to at least walk past the basilica once a day. He finally Victor met Bo and had a short conversation with him while some of the others went to see the Conte. Victor had a short conversation with Bo. The information he got from Bo was that they lived in an old abandoned theater. The next day, Victor found a phone book and called every theater and in Venice. Then he went to see the owner of a theater that didn't answer the phone. The owner's name was Dottor Massimo. Victor lied to him that he was a person who works in the newspaper and will talk about the theater. Then he saw the thief lord walk past him. Luckily, Dottor Massimo had guests and had a meeting with them so Victor had a chance to follow him to the hideout. The thief lord went back to the hideout, he warned the others about Victor. Then they st up a trap and kept Victor as a prisoner. When the thief lord and his followers were gone, Victor escaped and left a letter saying that he will not tell anyone about it. The next night, the thief lord and his followers went to steal the wing but was caught by the owner of the house and made a deal with her.While the mission, they found out that the thief's lord real nickname was Scipio and he was from a rich familly and is Dottor Massimo's son. The owner of the house's name was Ida. The deal was she taking them there and then she will track the Conte down and find a legendary merry-go-round which could change your age. On the next night, the pack went to an island and found the Conte waiting. They exchanged the treasure with money. Then they went to the boat and secretly followed to the Conte's Island. Then they wennt back home. Victor went back and slept at his apartment while the other's slept in Ida's house. Next morning, Victor looked at there loot and saw that it was fake money.On that night , Scipio and Prosper went out to the Island and got caught by the Conte and his assistant. They were caught there for just one night and then they set him out and let then go on the ride. Scipio went first and then after that, Babarossa came. He went on the ride and he broke and he was punished. Before he was punished, the group thought of that they might just let Ester adopt him. And it did happened. Then 2 of Scipio's followers named Riccio and Prosper went to live in another abandoned theater and the rest lived in Ida house exept for Victor. Then later on, Scipio asked Victor to train him to be a detective like VIctor and he did.

I like this book very much because it talks abot Venice and I never went to Venice before. I like it also because it is adventerous and exicting and it contains a lot of hard words with it.

I would recommend someone in the class room who like reading like me and likes to learn.

Alvin's 2nd book report

Title: HOLES
Author: Louis Sachar

This story is about a boy named Stanlee Yellnuts who was innocently caught for stealing a pear of shoe. He was sent to jail in the desert. When he reached the prison, he saw kids digging. The sheriff came out of the house and told him what he had to do and the rules. What he had to do was to dig a hole 17.5 ft deep each day. While he was digging, he found a friend. His name was Zero. Zero told him that each day, he would finish digging faster and faster. And then he found other friends. The next day while he was digging, he found a dial of a safe box. He then asked Zero what it was able to trade for. Zero told him that if you every found anything, you could get the rest of the day of. Then a kid named X-ray came and took it. The next day in the morning, X-ray showed the sheriff the dial of a safe box. X-ray then got a whole day of. Stanlee felt envy for him because of that he was the one who found it. The next day, Stanlee asked Zero what his real name was. His real name was Hector Zeroni but didn’t know how to spell it. Stanlee told him that he could teach him. Zero told him that he could dig for Stanlee and they agreed. Each day they followed the deal until one of the sheriff’s helper saw Zero digging for Stanlee so he called them both. The sheriff provokes Zero and made Zero angry. Zero then picked up a shuffle and hit him in the head which knocked him out and then ran away. Stanlee tried to run to but he was caught and had to dig 2 holes per day. The next day, Stanlee stole the car which is used to bring food to the cafeteria and raced away. He then drove into a hole so he opened the door and ran away. For not long, he found Zero under a boat. Stanlee brought him some water. Then Stanlee told Zero that while his grandfather was lost in the desert, he found food under god’s thumb. No one knew what his grandfather was saying but they both believed it. Then they got out of the boat and went to god’s thumb. It took the whole day and they found onions and water. They both slept there for 4 nights then headed back to the prison. They both stole 2 shuffles and then started digging at the hole Stanlee found the dial of a safe box. They were digging until Stanlee found it. There were a bunch of lizards on it. At that time, the sheriff and his helpers came and then saw them with the lizards. Zero and Stanlee both stood still. When the sun rose, Stanlee’s lawyers came. Zero and Stanlee both slowly got out of the hole with the box. The lawyers took the sheriff and his helpers away to jail because they were criminals. The lawyers took Zero and Stanlee away to Zero’s grandfather’s repair shop. Zero’s grandfather cracked the lock of the box and saw a lot of jewels and money in it. There was about a trillion dollars in it and they both shared it. Then there parents came and then took them home. They used the money to buy a big house and each day they would go there to meet each other.

I enjoyed reading the book a lot. I like reading it because it is a book which contains entertainment and a lot of words for me to learn.

I would like my friend in another school to read it because he likes reading bookes the are adventerous.

Alvin's 1st book report

This story is about a boy who can travel through time by just going into an old house. He jumped across the window from his bedroom to an old house next to his. Then he went downstairs and saw a boy. He was very pale. The pale boy told him that his father is always drunk. His mother tried to stop him from going to the bar but then she got killed by the farther. He als had a sister and the sister is locked in the basement. He then quickly showed him the letter his mother wrote before she died. Then the drunken father came back. The pale boy told the boy to run away. The next day, he brought some crackers and fed the pale boy. Then he went to feed his sister. On the way out, the boy had to fight with the father and the father died.

I really like this book because it is very adventurous. And I love reading adventerous books. It is very exiting.

I would really prefer my brother to read it because the words are easy and the book is pretty fun.
